Project for Renaissance of Towers, 2007

 

The first monument “Renaissance of Towers” was sketched and realized by Helidon Xhixha in 2001 soon after the September 11 Tragedy. The sculpture measuring 300cm in height is permanently installed along the lakeside promenade in the city of Stresa, Lago Maggiore, right in front of the historical Hotel Grand Des lles Borromees.

 

In 2007 Helidon realised a taller version of the monument ( measuring 650cm) which was presented at the Cornice International Art Fair in Venice the same year and has been exhibited in numerous cultural capitals:
